CrossFit is a community based ,functional fitness program or other wise know as a General Physical Preparedness program. Our views and definitions on fitness differ from the current fitness establishment. We view who is fit by their capacity in the 10 general physical skills Listed below. We look not to specialize in any given sport/physical skill such as Endurance but to be strive to be great at all them..Such as, endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, accuracy and balance.. We view the fittest as the person who can perform all these at highest level.
We are a functional fitness program because we run, we jump, we push, we pull, we row, we do the things our bodies are meant to do. We use exercises such as, push ups, pull ups, sit ups, air squats, front squats, back squats, OH squats, Shoulder press, push press, deadlift.
