Since we are a school of Elite fitness, we encourage you to learn how to do crossift workouts at home so even if you cannot get to our gym, you can maintain your workout schedule. You should plan on working out 4 days a week for great results.
How quickly can I expect results from a crossfit workout regimen?
If you’re consistently working out, you will start seeing results in a few weeks, and withing 3-4 months of joining CrossFit Surf City, you’ll see a huge difference in your body, energy and attitude.

What’s the best format for my crossfit routine?
Typically our classes begin with a warm-up then move on to a skill development segment. Next we shift to a high-intensity workout that lasts from ten to twenty minutes.
Do I need to alter my eating habits?
Many crossfitness athletes combine their workouts with the Paleo Diet. While CrossFit provides core strength and conditioning, a healthy diet lays the nutritional foundation for true fitness. The “Paleo” (short for Paleolithic) diet is sometimes call the caveman or diet because it focuses on the raw, natural foods found when humans were hunter-gatherers. The diet consisting largely of wild plants and animals with few dairy products eaten.
What should I do if I have specific dietary restrictions or requirements?
You can still achieve improved health by reducing your caloric intake and eliminating refined and processed carbohydrates; proven to relate directly to coronary heart disease, diabetes and cancer. If you get complex carbohydrates from vegetables and fruit, following the Paleo diet will control your insulin and hormonal levels which can improve your energy and performance during your CrossFit workout and throughout your day.
